Service Description
Supplement your existing training and elevate your game with the U15 & U18 Elite Defenders Program at CHA. Led by Chiefs Assistant Coach Joel Rumpel (coached professionally the past 2 seasons with the Winnipeg Jets affiliate Norfolk Admirals), this program is designed for defenders playing at the rep level or higher. Joel has extensive experience working with professional defensemen and is excited to share his knowledge with our community. With 20 ice sessions throughout the season, you'll receive top-notch coaching and training to take your skills to the next level. Joel will also be assisted on-ice by Chiefs Video Coach Lucas Bourdon, a former Chilliwack Chiefs defender. Defence specific work is something that always seems to be an afterthought for a lot of skill development programs. Within this program we will work with defenders on subtle tricks and nuances to help drive their performance to the next level. Sessions will run weekly on Wednesday's running from 630-730 AM at the Coliseum (Main Rink) for a total of 20 sessions. This program will begin Wednesday September 11th and will conclude on February 12th.
