Jordan Kawaguchi

The Chiefs are thrilled to add former Chilliwack Chiefs captain and all-time leading scorer to our development group this spring and summer! "Guch" has been a leader of his teams at every level he has played. Not only was he the captain of the Chilliwack Chiefs for two seasons, he was also a captain at the University of North Dakota. He was named a Hobey Baker finalist during the 2020 season.

After signing an NHL contract with the Dallas Stars out of the NCAA, Jordan spent time with the Texas Stars (AHL), Idaho Steelheads (ECHL, and the Belfast Giants (EIHL). He is back in town this spring/summer and has already begun working with our athletes. He possesses a wealth of knowledge and is looking forward to passing along his expertise to all of the young hockey players that come through our programs!
